Dr. Sejong Yoon has been awarded a $162,500 grant from the National Science Foundation for his collaborative research project as a part of a $999,150 grant with his collaborators at Rutgers University.
The project, named “Learning Joint Crowd-Space Embeddings for Cross-Modal Crowd Behavior Prediction,” will aim to design a new modeling and analysis framework for studying the human crowd’s motion and behaviors and their relationships to environmental structures. The project will engage TCNJ undergraduate student participants in this vital research and potential K-12 outreach with the Educational Administration and Secondary Education Department faculty’s help in the School of Education.
More details about Dr. Yoon’s research group and his work can be found on his website.
Congratulations to Dr. Yoon!
