Dr. Pete DePasquale will be holding a workshop at the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges – Northeastern Region (CCSC) conference in April 2013. The title of his workshop is “Getting Started with Cloud Services: A Hands-On Workshop”. Congratulations to Dr. DePasquale!
In conjunction with the ACM chapter, a representative from GitHub came to hold a Git/Github workshop for anyone interested (including faculty) on 12/10/12. The workshop covered all aspects of Git, from installation to advanced Git procedures. Many of our CS students and faculty attended the workshop. Here are some pictures from the event.
