“My internship work mainly focused on Automation Testing. Every high-quality product is tested before being released to the public. Think about products such as the Tesla smart car; that product has to meet certain standards before they’re for purchase for consumers. This testing rule also applies to industry level software. My work over the summer revolved around testing the features of ETS’s internal software systems.
Overall, I learned a lot over the course of my internship; perhaps too much, honestly. Things like infrastructure tech, such as AWS. But I think the most important lesson was to just go with the flow of things. It’s not particularly CS related, but I believe it will be a crucial mindset to have as I progress throughout my career.”
