Software Engineer Intern
As a software engineering intern at Billtrust this summer, I worked on a project to improve how system administrators can manage user permissions within the Billtrust Platform. I created an audit log interface that allows admins to easily search and view actions such as user creation, role assignments, and deletions, along with details of who made these changes. This project involved both frontend and backend technologies, integrating data filters and real-time updates. I created multiple endpoints, masked complex data, and implemented API calls to ensure secure and efficient communication between system components. Through this experience, I applied what I learned in my software engineering class, including interface design principles, developing a complex project incrementally, and quickly learning a new language and framework. I’m grateful for the opportunity to take full ownership of the project and collaborate with my team to deliver a valuable feature for Billtrust customers!
