Cybersecurity Intern
“This summer, I worked on AT&T’s CSO Security Policy App team. This team works on the Security Policy App which provides an easy way to digest AT&T security policy. It also hosts a questionnaire for application owners to learn what tools they can use to help comply with these policies. The project I was given this summer was to replicate an existing SharePoint navigation system in personal development on the Security Policy App and their FAQs site. I also worked on creating a personal dashboard proof-of-concept on the FAQs site for users to save different service cards for easier future reference. I got to work with full-stack web development using Angular and Node. My navigation system will be made into a package for easy implementation for other applications to use.
I really enjoyed my experience this summer and the feeling of having meaningful work that would continue to be used and worked on after my experience ended. My software engineering class with Dr. Pulimood really prepared me to use MVC architecture and SDLC. I had a lot of fun working with the other interns at my office who all came from different schools.”
