Description:
Through faculty guided lecture and active learning experiences, students explore a topic in the field of computer science. This course provides an opportunity to broaden understanding of computing principles and develop skills beyond the traditional curriculum. Students may learn programming languages, software tools, or hardware platforms. Students may engage in software use and development, as well as in technical readings and discussion. Course topics dictate the length and weight of the course. The course may be repeated with change of topic. Free elective credit only.
