Description:
Through this seminar, students are encouraged to establish and early commitment to professional activity and lifelong career development. This is accomplished through: a deeper investigation of ethical professionalism, including personal integration through case study and reflection; a participation in career planning and preparation, including investigations into graduate studies and industry opportunities; a detailed examination of upper-level course choices on personal progress toward career goals; and an introduction to professional technical reading and writing.
Prerequisite notes: CSC 099 (waived for students entering the computer science program from another program within TCNJ with prior similar experience) and a minimum of sophomore status.
